16. Were They Just Trolling?

After the whole Jinder Mahal as champion thing (and the House Of Horrors), there's a school of thought that WWE are now simply trolling fans, in the hope that they get as much of a reaction for the product as they can. And hang the consequences.

It barely even matters what WWE would achieve in the long-run. The theory now exists, and it will run for a while on its own steam now.

But there's trolling and there's trolling - and booking an ending that defies even the most simple reading of the rules is not the right way to do it. It just makes you look like idiots...

Kudos to Rusev too, who spent a good deal of the night trolling fans on Twitter. That's how you troll.
