WWE Money In The Bank 2018: Every Match Ranked From Worst To Best
It could've been worse...
There's no ignoring the truth that, on paper, this year's Money in the Bank PPV was looking a little soft. With a depressingly low-effort undercard and the now-typical four-hour run-time (not counting the kickoff show), it wasn't the easiest sell to audiences.
It sure wasn't a show for the ages, that much is undeniable. That said, the event as a whole didn't quite plumb the depths some were expecting: the majority of the big, marquee matches delivered solid entertainment value, even if nothing on the PPV came even close to the best wrestling served up the night before by NXT.
It was a wildly inconsistent PPV as is the standard for WWE, further proving that the new four-hour format really isn't conducive to a tight show jam-packed with quality content (shocker!).
Well, it was better than Backlash by any stretch, if also more bloated out with unnecessary filler. Given the talent at their disposal, though, WWE really should be trying much harder than this...
