Cash In: Successful.

You never forget your first.

After winning the inaugural MITB ladder match, Edge went on to become the first man to successfully cash in the contract at 2006's New Year's Revolution. He took advantage of a prone John Cena and claimed his first WWE Championship in the process.

This kickstarted Edge's main event run in the company and from here on out he was considered as a reliable top heel (and babyface when needed).

He'd eventually be forced to retire in 2011 due to a diagnosis of cervical spinal stenosis. However, he bowed out with an impressive resume, boasting four WWE Championships, seven World Heavyweight Championships, five Intercontinental Championships and a whole host of other prestigious accolades - such as being a Royal Rumble and King of the Ring winner.

Against all the odds, Edge would make a triumphant return in the 2020 Royal Rumble and even went on to battle Randy Orton in a Last Man Standing match at WrestleMania 36.
