At WWEs Raw live event on Sunday, Dolph Ziggler introduced Mason Ryan as his new bodyguard. Declaring himself the future of WWE, Ziggler stated that for him to get to the top he needed someone to watch his back. Ziggler went on to lose the match he was in against John Cena, who was still selling the arm from his bout with Brock Lesnar. Mason Ryan ended up getting involved in the match. There's no word on whether Ryan will appear with Ziggler on TV going forward, or whether WWE are just testing the waters to see how the pairing goes. It's also uncertain on what this means for the Vickie, Swagger, Ziggler trio and how Ryan would fit in. Vickie has been associated with Dolph for almost two years now and many believe that it is time for the pair to part ways as there is nothing more Vickie can do to help elevate Ziggler. Former FCW Champion Mason Ryan who was born in Wales, has rarely been seen on WWE TV in 2012. Last year after being forced out with an injury, following his return Ryan had a small feud with Dolph Ziggler. Joining Team Orton and competing at the Survivor Series PPV in November, Ryan was eliminated by Cody Rhodes, this would be his last TV appearance in 2011. It's no secret that both stars could use a fresh start, Ziggler has spent the last few weeks losing to the Funkasauras, Brodus Clay. A feud which really seems to be doing nothing for either man. Mason Ryan himself could do with getting back onto television after having only made a handful of appearances on Superstars this year. Last year WWE wasn't really sure what to do with the monster, turning him from a beastly heel to a smiles around face.
