In a backstage interview with Eden Stiles, after laying out his reasons for 'needing' the Intercontinental championship in his signature blasé style, Owens gave the interviewer a cocksure wink and then walked out of shot. Moments later, while Eden was throwing back to the kickoff panel, Owens cut her off by walking back across shot, saying I gotta go that way, and disappearing off the other side. You could argue that it was planned, or a spur of the moment improvisation, but this little spark of weird humour cements Kevin Owens as one of the most naturally funny on-camera performers in wrestling today.
