WWE No Longer Testing For COVID

WWE have ceased testing their wrestlers for COVID as another live event is postponed.

As revealed in a recent report from Fightful Select, the biggest wrestling promotion on the planet have taken the decision to cease their twice-weekly testing of talents for COVID that had once been mandatory. This was confirmed by a performer who had been frequenting the Performance Center in recent times, with Fightful also adding that WWE main roster talents received a similar message about weekly testing now being a thing of the past.

However, it still hasn't been confirmed whether a vaccination qualifier has been added to this recent ruling.

It'll likely not come as much of a shock to hear that this change of direction in terms of dealing with COVID didn't go down particularly well with some within the company, likely due to how effected WWE has already been by the virus over the last week or so.

Speaking of which, WWE is actually still hoping to keep their card for the upcoming Day 1 PPV as untouched as possible, as reported by WrestleVotes, despite the roster, house shows, and even Raw being influenced by positive COVID tests recently.

It's also worth noting that WWE postponed their Holiday Tour live event in Toronto, Ontario that was set to go down on 29 December. Said event will now take place on 27 March, 2022, one day removed from WWE's Kitchener event in Ontario.
