Matt Striker and Scott Stanford kick off the WWE No Way Out pre-show hyping up the card live from the IZOD Center in East Rutherford, New Jersey. Backstage we see Primo, Epcio and Rosa Mendes arguing with Abraham Washington. They want to know when they are going to get their WWE Tag Team Title shot. AW says he has placed them in a fatal four-way match for the number 1 contendership for the tag titles and this will put them in a great spotlight for the gold. The Usos vs Primo & Epico vs Tyson Kidd & Justin Gabriel vs Titus O'Neil & Darren Young is set for the pay-per-view later. Pre-Show Match: Brodus Clay defeated David Otunga via countout when Otunga wanted no more of Clay. Otunga poses as Clay and his dancers celebrate the victory. John Cena cuts a promo and says his match with Big Show tonight will shake the foundations of the WWE and there will be No Way Out after it. No Way Out begins with Michael Cole, Booker T & Jerry "The King" Lawler on commentary. 1) World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus defeated Dolph Ziggler with the Brogue Kick to retain his title. We see Vince McMahon walking backstage when John Laruinaitis asks on his condition after the concussion he suffered last Monday at the hands of the Big Show and he advises Vince to stay away from ringside in the main event. Vince just walks off but Laurinaitis drones on before Vince stops him and slams the dressing room door. Josh Matthews looks for a comment and says he has a show to run tonight, tomorrow and in the future. 2) WWE United States Champion Santino Marella defeated Ricardo Rodriguez in a non-title Tuxedo Match in the comedy match of the night. Matt Striker interviews CM Punk and asks about AJ Lee. Punk says tonight's match isn't about her but the WWE Title. AJ walks up and gives Punk a kiss on the cheek for good luck. He says thanks but luck is for losers and he walks off as AJ smiles at him. 3) WWE Intercontinental Champion Christian defeated Cody Rhodes with a spear to retain the title.4) Titus O'Neil & Darren Young defeated The Uso's, Primo & Epico and Tyson Kidd & Justin Gabriel to become the number 1 contenders to the WWE Tag Team Titles. The finish came with Abraham Washington cheering O'Neil & Young on as they won the match. AW raised their hand in victory and celebrated with him as Epico and Rosa Mendes wonder what the hell is going on. Epico attacks AW but just ends up with a beat down as a new stable is formed. Video package is shown of the Triple H and Brock Lesnar feud as HHH comes out to a big pop. He says he's not really a corporate guy at all but he is a fighter and an ass kicker. He says Lesnar is the same and the last time he got in the ring he had his arm broke. HHH says he should be 100% in a few weeks, a few weeks longer and he should be fighting shape and by the time SummerSlam comes around he will be ready for a match. He challenges Lesnar to a match... and to drop all the lawyers, lawsuits and legal junk... all the baggage like the fat balding manager Paul Heyman. They should do what they do best and HHH wants Lesnar bad. Daniel Bryan is backstage warming up as AJ Lee appears. She wants to talk but he's not interested. She says after all they've been through she still hasn't gotten over Bryan and she wishes him good luck tonight before kissing him and walking off. 5) WWE Divas Champion Layla defeated Beth Phoenix with the neckbreaker out of nowhere. AJ Lee is backstage looking for Kane. She finds him and kiss him good luck. She goes to walk off but Kane pulls her back and gives her a kiss that seems to go on forever. Kane then walks off and it leaves AJ confused. 6) Sin Cara defeated Hunico with his faceplant finisher out of nowhere. 7) WWE Champion CM Punk defeated Kane and Daniel Bryan to retain his title. The finish came when Kane went for a Tombstone Piledriver on Punk but he slides out. AJ runs down and gets on the apron but CM Punk shoves Kane into her and she lands her on the floor. Kane gets mad but is distracted and Kane nails the GTS on him for the victory. 8) Ryback defeats local wrestlers Rob Grymes and Dan Delaney in the usual squash match.9) Steel Cage Match: John Cena defeated Big Show to save his job and forcing John Laurinaitis to be fired. There were several interferences in the match with Brodus Clay coming down with a steel chair that stopped Show from walking out of the door or escaping over the top when he had the match won with a knockout punch. Santino Marella & Alex Riley also down to support and actually start to climb the cage but Show knocks them off. Zack Ryder then does the same but gets knocked down by Show. Kofi Kingston is next and he is quick enough to make it over the top of the cage but after a tussle, Kofi is knocked to the floor. The actual finish came when Cena climbed over the top to the floor and Show made it out of the door at what looked to be the same time, though Cena must have been slightly faster as he was declared the winner. During all this Brodus Clay stopped John Laurinaitis from stopping Cena winning the match. Post-match Cena gives Laurinaitis the Attitude Adjustment as Vince tells him he's fired. Cena then puts Laurinaitis through the Spanish announcers table with the move and the crowd pops.
