As first reported by PWTorch, NXT drew an average of 921,000 P2+ viewers across its two hours, compared to Dynamite's 609,000. This was the developmental brand's highest overall viewership since 20 November 2019 and the fourth best in the show's history.

NXT's P18-49 rating sat at 0.30, up from the 0.18 and 0.22 accrued over the past couple of weeks. AEW's, meanwhile, dropped to 0.26, meaning NXT outranked it on the night.

This is only the second time WWE NXT has beaten AEW Dynamite in a head-to-head battle in the shows' respective history, with the last example coming on 18 December 2019.

Both companies presented loaded shows in an attempt at outdoing one another, though WWE unquestionably had the more powerful cards to play. 16-time World Champion John Cena, Cody Rhodes, Asuka, and Paul Heyman were all announced for the show, while The Undertaker was all but guaranteed when his gong sounded in a promotional video.

AEW, meanwhile, booked Adam Copeland's first match in the promotion, as well as big names like Chris Jericho. Per Wrestlenomics, the only Dynamite quarter-hour to outdo NXT in P18-49 featured Jericho vs. Powerhouse Hobbs and the beginning of Rey Fenix vs. Orange Cassidy.
