WWE NXT In Lowell - 10 Live Observations
8. Dana Brooke Has Improved Immensely
When Dana Brooke initially arrived on the NXT scene in March 2015, she was met with plenty of criticism from fans that she wasn't ready for NXT TV, that she merely had an impressive physique and nothing else. I have never been the biggest proponent of hers, but to her credit, she has improved immensely as a talent over the past year.
Her alliance with Emma played a factor in that, but now that the Australian beaut has returned to the main roster, Brooke is back to shining on her own. She has been out with an injury since late 2015, but looked to be fully healed when she stepped between the ropes on Thursday night in the aforementioned tag team match.
I guess it's not difficult to get the crowd to turn on you when you're facing Baemella, but she did very well for herself and had an impressive outing. My only gripe with Brooke remains that she touches herself far too much during her entrance. She has been doing it since her debut and it's become an even bigger annoyance as of late. It's not generating genuine heat. It's just, er, strange.
