Winter Park, Florida's Full Sail University has been WWE NXT's home for years, but it looks like the black and gold brand could be on the verge of leaving this intimate venue and going on the road.

This is according to Dave Meltzer in this week's edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. He acknowledges that there has been a lot of talk that WWE will take the former developmental brand out of Full Sail on Wednesdays, with January 2020 the apparent target for the move.

Meltzer notes that WWE will be looking at buildings similar to those that AEW use for their Dynamite tapings, with capacities falling somewhere close to 5,000. The promotion has reportedly already reached out to several venues about this, and the only reason NXT hasn't already moved is because WWE had no time to switch things up ahead of the USA Network switch, hence January 2020.

This is undoubtedly a tough decision for WWE. Full Sail creates a loud, raucous atmosphere, and the venue is synonymous with NXT, though the smaller setting makes the show look minor league compared to AEW's bigger buildings. Changing that perception is critical.
