WWE NXT Live Glasgow - 10 Live Observations

9. Asuka€™s Gonna Kill You

When Charlotte, Sasha and Becky jumped up to the main roster, it left the NXT Women€™s Division in a bit of a bind. Luckily, Triple H signed Japanese female sensation, Kana and brought her to NXT as Asuka. I wasn€™t familiar with her but after a YouTube binge, I became a big fan of her work, really connecting with her stiff style. When WWE announced that Asuka would be on the full UK tour, I was anticipating her match from the start of the show, really looking forward to seeing her live. When Asuka came out for her bout with Alexa Bliss, there was a big reaction for her and the Glasgow crowd seemed keen to see her deliver a lot of physical pain as they chanted €œAsuka€™s Gonna Kill You€ Bliss has improved in the ring in the last twelve months but with her level of experience, Asuka wasn€™t able to fully unleash her arsenal of moves. The pace of the match was more about Bliss beating on the offensive until Asuka made the babyface comeback and applied the cross faced chicken wing for the win, to a huge pop.
