Having been confined to the WWE Performance Center for the majority of the past few years, the NXT brand is set to once again venture further afield on a regular basis for its major shows from the start of next year.

As per the ever-reliable @WrestleVotes, word from the WWE PC today is that 4 February's Vengeance Day special will mark the return to the road for the brand's Premium Live Events. That show will reportedly emanate from Charlotte, North Carolina.

NXT last held a major show outside Florida with Stand & Deliver from Dallas' American Airlines Center during the weekend of WrestleMania 38.

Prior to that, the last time the brand held a special outside of Florida was back in February 2020, where Adam Cole and Tommaso Ciampa headlined TakeOver: Portland from the Moda Center.

Once the global pandemic came to the fore, the next two NXT specials - TakeOver: In Your House and TakeOver XXX - were both held at Full Sail University in front of zero fans. TakeOver 31 in October '20 saw these events switched to the WWE Performance Center, and any and all televised NXT output - bar this year's Stand & Deliver - has been held from the PC since.

It has already been announced that NXT Stand & Deliver 2022 will take place from Los Angeles' Crypto.com Arena during the weekend of WrestleMania 39, and it appears that 10 December's Deadline will mark the end of WWE running their big NXT shows from the WWE PC.
