NXT superstar Solomon Crowe -- known as Sami Callihan in his pre-WWE days -- was reportedly taken to the hospital late in the evening on Saturday, August 30th. While it was unknown at the time why Crowe had been admitted to the medical center, it was believed that it was nothing too major. Crowe, himself, tweeted about the incident by saying, Hospitals are scary. I keep hearing chainsaw noises down the hall. Obviously, the up-and-coming superstar was handling things with a bit of humor. It was reported that Crowe was injured during an NXT live event, with sources stating the source of the injury was some sort of botched headscissor. Crowe attempted the move on Viktor, of the Ascension, and when both men landed, Crowe failed to return to his feet. Instead, Solomon stayed on the mat and grabbed at his leg. Crowe sent out another tweet, on the night of August 31st, updating his followers on the status of his injury. It turns out that the NXT superstar chipped his tibia. While the injury is not believed to be anything all that serious, its unclear how much time Crowe may miss, if any at all. Obviously, an injury -- no matter how major or minor -- will hinder the superstar in some respect. However, Crowe, as well as his fans, are surely hoping that he will not have to miss any time because of it. Solomon Crowe has yet to officially debut on NXT programming, but has been considered a hot prospect and something special since before his signing with the company.
