Rhea Ripley joins Team Shotzi ahead of TakeOver: WarGames 2020.
Rhea Ripley became the latest woman to join Shotzi Blackheart’s team for this weekend’s WarGames match against Candice LeRae, Raquel Gonzalez, Toni Storm, and Dakota Kai yesterday.
‘The Nightmare’s’ participation was confirmed in a video uploaded to WWE’s YouTube channel:-
Ripley joins captain Blackheart and Ember Moon, who was added in another YouTube video on Sunday.
The former NXT Women’s Champion, who is in real need of a rebound, played a starring role in last year’s first-ever women’s WarGames match, as she and LeRae effectively fought with a 4-on-2 disadvantage following Kai’s betrayal of Tegan Nox. A monstrous showing from Ripley helped the duo to an unlikely victory, which comprised the first part of an epic Survivor Series weekend for the Australian.
