This comes via an official WWE statement issued to Inside The Ropes' Gary Cassidy, with ticketholders to the scheduled 20 June event being offered refunds.

NXT UK Live: Dublin scheduled to take place at 3Arena, Dublin on Sunday, June 20 2021 has been cancelled. Refunds will be available from the point of purchase.

The event had originally been scheduled to take place on 26 April 2020, as was announced during NXT TakeOver: Portland in February of that year. The impact of the ongoing global b*stard caused this to be pushed back to 25 October, before the 20 June date was pencilled in.

WWE's United Kingdom brand returned to regular programming with the 17 September episode of the titular show, having been broadcasting various recap episodes between 9 April and 10 September.

Their last TakeOver event was the second TakeOver: Blackpool show on 12 January 2020, main evented by WALTER and Joe Coffey's clash over the NXT UK Championship, with an Undisputed Era appearance closing the night. They've since held the special episode titled NXT UK Prelude over WrestleMania 37 weekend that saw WALTER challenged by Rampage Brown.
