WWE NXT's 31 Wrestlers - Ranked From Worst To Best

4. Tyler Breeze

Pros:

1. The best WWE-style wrestler in NXT

2. Highly distinctive look and entrance

3. Great old-school heel offense

Cons:

1. Continues to be overlooked for new signees

2. Is very small for a WWE heel

3. Was rumored to be in the running to replace Heath Slater as a main roster comedy act

Although he has found himself largely overlooked thanks to the massive influx of indy talent into NXT, Tyler Breeze continues to improve and impress week by week. While there are better all around pro wrestlers on the NXT roster, there isn't anyone on the roster who better understands how to be a WWE Sports Entertainer, capital "s", capital "e." His self-sung theme song is reminiscent of a young Shawn Michaels, and his Derek Zoolander promos are pitch-perfect.

Which is not to say that Breeze isn't impressive bell-to-bell. He doesn't have the skill of a Sami Zayn or the physicality of a Kevin Owens, but he has a wonderful, petty kind of viciousness on offense that's rare in modern wrestling. He's even raising the berating of referees to an art form.

Also, in a post HBK era when superkicks are in everyone's moveset, Tyler's supermodel kick is, appropriately enough, the best-looking one in wrestling.

Final rating: ****3/4
