WWE Payback 2020: First 4 Matches Announced
Roman Reigns gets a Universal Title shot in his first match back.
Roman Reigns will wrestle for the WWE Universal Championship in what will likely be his first big match back with the promotion.
This was confirmed on last night's episode of RAW, during which it was announced that the recently-returned 'Big Dog' would challenge 'The Fiend' Bray Wyatt for his newly-won prize in a No Holds Barred Triple Threat also featured Braun Strowman. Wyatt took the strap from Braun at SummerSlam 2020, defeating 'The Monster Among Men' via two Sister Abigails on the exposed ring boards, before Reigns returned for the first time since March and wrecked both men.
Also confirmed for this week's Payback 2020 pay-per-view was Keith Lee vs. Randy Orton, which is a product of their RAW bout going to a no-contest following Drew McIntyre's interference. The thrown-together Shayna Baszler/Nia Jax tandem will challenge Sasha Banks and Bayley for the Women's Tag Team Titles, while Apollo Crews defends his US Title against Bobby Lashley, having cheated to beat 'The All Mighty' in an arm-wrestling contest.
