With talk of Vince McMahon firing him dying down, Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that Randy Orton will continue to be pushed as a main event superstar when he returns from his suspension. WWE are struggling with depth issues, especially at the top of the card for touring live events with the brand split. Orton will likely be pushed as a big babyface upon his return, a decision that frustrates Orton as he believes that he is more naturally fitting as a heel and can serve better playing a bad guy. That was always an argument Triple H would make and why he stayed a heel for the majority of his peek as a WWE main eventer. WWE won't listen to Orton's request to become a heel as Sheamus' run as a babyface WWE World Champion hasn't gotten him over to Orton level yet with the crowds. The company feel they must have a top babyface to anchor live events and Orton holds that role on SmackDown currently and Sheamus isn't quit there to takeover that would allow Orton to be the heel. When asked recently if he would come back as a heel rather than a babyface, he said on Twitter; €œwe can only pray.€ Another reason for Orton's current frustration with WWE officials is the removing of the punt kick from his arsenal, a decision that was made because of concussion issues. Orton€™s suspension will run out on July 29th, meaning he misses the 1,000th RAW in his hometown of St. Louis, Missouri. He will however be eligible for the July 30th RAW the week after. However Orton actually claims his suspension will end two days earlier on Friday, July 27th.
