5. The "Purple Shirt Cena" Chamber (Elimination Chamber '11)
Much like the previous match, the Raw Chamber from 2011 was outstanding, but not quite on the level of the Smackdown version from earlier in the show. John Morrison, in particular, did some phenomenal work. His career hit its crescendo from late 2010 to May 2011 and he, perhaps, never looked better than he did while using the chains of the Chamber as Spiderman would the walls of New York City buildings. The athleticism on display from Jo Mo was equaled on the storytelling side by CM Punk during the heart of his feud with Randy Orton. Punk worked the system as best he could, using the old "Anonymous Raw General Manager" to the fullest extent of its frustrating abuse of power to be the last man eliminated by John Cena (during his purple shirt wearing days that helped make him such an easy target for the returning Rock a week earlier). Sheamus and R-Truth merely provided fodder for the others. At stake that night was a shot at The Miz's WWE Championship at WrestleMania XXVII. There was little doubt that Cena would emerge victorious, which made it all the more impressive that the combination of the match's general layout and the execution by those involved created for such a great match. It might just have been this writer's perspective, but it felt a little more important than the average Chamber match with a predictable result.
