WWE: Ranking Bret Hart's 14 Matches At WrestleMania

7. The Hart Foundation vs. Greg Valentine & Honky Tonk Man - WrestleMania 5

Before Bret's excellent run as a singles wrestler that saw him win the Intercontinental and World Titles, he was part of the Hart Foundation tag team along with his brother-in-law Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart, who is the father of current WWE diva Natalya. The Hart Foundation were faces for much of their run, but they were heels at times too. In this match at WrestleMania 5 they were a face team going against the Jimmy Hart led team of Valentine & Honky Tonk Man that would eventually be called Rhythm & Blues. It was a basic tag team match with the heels working over Hart for much of it, which made sense because Hart was the better worker on his team while Neidhart was more of the power guy. After Neidhart tagged in, everything broke down and Jimmy Hart tried to get involved for his team. He was the former manager of the Hart Foundation, so it made sense that he was out there to cost his former team. Of course that interference attempt backfired as he lost possession of his coveted megaphone, then Hart used it to hit HTM in the head and that led to the Hart Foundation win. The match went about 8 minutes, had a lot of action and showed that Hart was a star on the rise at this point in his career.
