WWE Raw 1000th Episode: An A-Z of Best Raw Moments
C is for Commentary
The commentary on RAW over the years has been a mixed bag, as often awful as it is brilliant. For the last 2 decades we've seen, or rather heard from, some of the most unlikely combinations imaginable with the very rare 'storm in a bottle' moment where two or more people compliment each other so well that it can turn the worst ring action into the greatest TV show on Earth. Examples of this would be Jim Ross and Jerry 'The King' Lawler, Jim Ross and Paul Heyman and heck, even Bobby Henan, Vince McMahon and Macho Man Randy Savage were memorable for the right reasons, even if Vince did suck. Occasional stars were found amongst ring talent sidelined with injuries such as CM Punk but generally speaking outside of the aforementioned combinations it has been mediocre at best. Michael Cole is the voice of the WWE? Really?
