WWE RAW 3/25/2013: 5 Things We Learned

By JD Shrader /

1. The Rock and John Cena Continue To Build Their Case For The Rematch

In an interesting twist this week, the final segment of RAW featured a panel of Hall of Famers moderating a debate between challenger and champion. While initially apprehensive about this setup, we found the end result to be a home run in increasing the build for The Rematch. Cena pleads that he needs redemption (and even slyly teases a possible heel turn), and The Rock reminds us all that he's still at the top of his game and that he is the man, wooooooooooo!, to beat. The night ended with John Cena on the receiving end of a Rock Bottom, which is undoubtedly setting us up for Cena's rally next week to close the show via the Attitude Adjustment and sending us off to New Jersey. All in all, a nice job to push The Rematch storyline forward, and a nice change from the usual promo banter between the two participants. Next week's face to face between The Rock and John Cena should be must see TV for sure. Let's argue all things wrestling! Find and follow me on Twitter: @davyshrader
