WWE Raw: 8 Things To Expect Tonight (April 25)

The debut of Finn Balor? Maybe...

It's almost pay per view time again, and that can mean only one thing: a go-home Raw.

May 1st's Payback event looks to be a solid card, one which could potentially blow WrestleMania 32 out of the water. Expect tonight's show to centre around the various matches for Sunday, including Owens vs. Zayn, Jericho vs. Ambrose, and the final of the Tag Title number one contender tournament.

Then, of course, we have the burning issue of Shane McMahon. Will the boy wonder return for a fourth straight week in charge? A certain King of Kings might have something to say about that - especially considering the fact that this week's Raw is taking place in Connecticut.

All in all, we should have an exciting Raw in store - and that's before we've even mentioned the possibility of a certain demonic Irishman showing up...

8. The Authority Vs. Shane McMahon

WWE.com's official Raw preview seems to suggest that Triple H and Stephanie McMahon will be making their long-awaited return, having not been seen on television since WrestleMania 32. The article states:

'Monday night’s hottest show now ventures to Hartford, Conn., mere minutes from The Authority’s offices in WWE Headquarters.
We haven’t seen Triple H and Stephanie McMahon on Raw since WrestleMania, nor have we gotten their thoughts on Shane-O-Mac’s job performance. Will The Authority arrive to put an end to Shane’s new era, or will they actually deem him “best for business” at the helm of Raw?'

This seems to imply some sort of power struggle in the coming months, perhaps building to some sort of big summer storyline pitting The Game against Shane O'Mac for control of WWE. As far as starting points go, this week's Raw wouldn't be the worst, giving them plenty of time to work out a proper, fleshed-out angle.
