Ahead of this Sunday’s Royal Rumble PPV, the ratings are now in for last night’s go-home edition of Monday Night Raw.

Via Showbuzz Daily, this week’s red brand outing drew an average of 1.820 million viewers – which is a drop on last week’s average of 1.855 million viewers.

Breaking it down to single hours, the first hour of last night’s Raw had 1.904 million viewers, the second hour had 1.838 million viewers, and the final hour pulled in 1.716 million viewers.

While the first two hours are slightly down on last week’s equivalent ratings, this week’s final hour just about edges the prior Monday’s 1.697 million viewers for the third hour.

All of this means that Raw ranked #23 in cable viewership for Monday night, which is an improvement on last week’s #34 spot. On the Cable Top 150, Raw won out as the #1 show in the key 18-49 demographic, with this largely down to how this is the second Monday night in a row where Raw hasn’t faced competition from the NFL.

As for Raw itself, it was yet another so-so outing for WWE’s flagship programming. Seeing Edge appear to announce his return at this Sunday’s Royal Rumble PPV was fantastic, and Sheamus vs. John Morrison and Riddle vs. Cedric Alexander were solid matches, yet the rest of the show often left a lot to be desired.
