WWE Raw Ratings Up For Post-WWE SummerSlam 2016 Episode
Reigns = Ratings? Well, not quite.
WWE RAW ratings moved in the right direction this week for the first episode following SummerSlam.
Last week 2.915m people tuned in to see the main roster debut of The Demon King, whereas 3.315m tuned in this week to see good old ordinary Finn Balor relinquish his newly-won WWE Universal Championship.
The hourly breakdown continues to follow a fairly predictable pattern. The first hour drew in an impressive 3.462m pairs of eyes, a number which dropped slightly but not dramatically for the second hour as 3.370m continued to watch the action unfold.
Three hours continues to be too much for a weekly wrestling show however, and the viewership dropped to 3.113m for the final hour. RAW came in fourth on cable for viewership behind 'Major Crimes', 'The O'Reilly Factor' (not Kyle) and 'Rizzolli & Isles', but it did manage to top the cable ranking in the 18-49 demographic.
This week's RAW was headlined by Roman Reigns defeating Chris Jericho to gain a spot in next week's four-way to crown a new Universal Champion. Reigns joins Kevin Owens, Seth Rollins and Big Cass in that match. This week's episode also saw the re-debut of Bayley on the main roster.
