The WWE Championship contest at next month's WrestleMania Backlash pay-per-view is now a triple threat match following the events of last night's Raw. The uneasy alliance between #1 contender Drew McIntyre and Braun Strowman had disintegrated almost before the opening titles rolled as the two behemoths butted heads backstage before their tag match against T-Bar and Mace.
Their lack of communication would prove costly in the match, losing via count-out after a collision on the outside, and lead to a main event on Raw pitting them against each other where Strowman emerged victorious and thus was added to the title showdown with WWE Champion Bobby Lashley in three weeks.
Elsewhere, the bizarre pairing of Randy Orton and Riddle formed the highly-effective Team RK-Bro, Sonya Deville undermined WWE official Adam Pearce again and reinstated Charlotte Flair following her suspension last week, and Damian Priest & The New Day interrupted an unplugged performance by Miz, Morrison, Elias & Ryker to pelt them with tomatoes?!
