WWE Raw Review Podcast - John Cena RETURNS!
...and he wasn't the only one on an eventful Monday night!
Join Adam Wilbourn, Michael Hamflett and Michael Sidgwick as we review this week's episode of Monday Night Raw!
We all anticipated big things on the post-Money In The Bank episode of Raw, especially considering it would be the first show this year with crowds for the red brand, but no-one could have predicted quite how wild things would get last night.
John Cena opened the show, just 24 hours removed from his shock return at Sunday's pay-per-view, to challenge Roman Reigns to a match at SummerSlam. However, the surprises didn't stop there; with Keith Lee's return to Mondays swiftly followed by Goldberg announcing he was next in line for WWE champ Bobby Lashley.
In terms of in-ring action we were treated to a 'Symphony Of Destruction' match between former partners turned rivals Elias and Jaxson Ryker, Drew McIntyre destroying two chairs in the process of attacking Jinder Mahal and his goons, and NXT Champion Karrion Kross debuting on the main roster against Jeff Hardy...it didn't end well.
Finally, the main event saw a rematch between Charlotte Flair & Rhea Ripley for the Raw Women's Championship, and although that ended in a DQ, the title did change hands as Nikki A.S.H. cashed in her Money In The Bank contract in a thrilling conclusion to the first Raw with fans in over a year!
