WWE Reforming Two Teams Of Former Tag Champions?

Has Vince started to care about tag team wrestling again?!

According to Bryan Alvarez on a recent episode of Wrestling Observer Live, WWE are considering reuniting two teams who have both been tag team champions in the past, either in the lead up to SummerSlam or shortly after the pay-per-view.

"Plans change all the time but from what I've heard it's probably going to be Gable & Jordan and Rollins & Ambrose as teams... But who knows what they'll do?"

Ambrose is rumoured to be returning around SummerSlam from the triceps injury he suffered in December, and Jordan has been cleared to return following neck surgery in February, but creative are yet to give him anything.

Prior to his injury, the Lunatic Fringe had been tagging with Seth Rollins following a stunted reunion of The Shield as a result of Roman Reigns contracting the mumps. Jordan meanwhile, had been involved in a storyline with Reigns and Rollins subsequent to him being revealed as Kurt Angle's son.

Jordan's former tag team partner in American Alpha, Chad Gable, is now on RAW, which would certainly make a reunion highly feasible, as well as being something many fans have been crying out for.

Ambrose was rumoured to be returning as a heel, but a brief tag run alongside one of his Shield brethren may make his turn more impactful - especially as Rollins keeps having issues with the team of Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre when feuding for the Intercontinental Championship.

Regardless, the tag team divisions on both RAW and SmackDown LIVE could do with a boost, and these reunions may well provide it.
