Given how WrestleMania has famously been a place for shocks and surprises, some hopeful fans are speculating that Becky Lynch could make her WWE return at this weekend's WrestleMania 37.

While it remains to be seen whether or not The Man shows up at Raymond James Stadium, one fun nugget from Stephanie McMahon's recent appearance on The Bill Simmons Podcast is that Lynch - who gave birth to her daughter Roux this past December - reportedly pitched to have somebody attack her in the maternity ward.

As McMahon put it:

"I kept talking to Becky all during her pregnancy, then afterwards she was actually pitching somebody jumping her in the maternity ward."

Even though the conversation was relatively light at this point, Stephanie clearly came across as being deadly serious with this statement.

On the return of Becky Lynch, McMahon admitted that the Lass Kicker is "itching to get back". When asked outright whether Lynch could show up at this year's Showcase of the Immortals, the response from Stephanie was a coy "you never know about this weekend".

The last time Becky was seen on WWE programming, was the 11 May 2020 episode of Raw. There, she handed her Raw Women's Championship over to Asuka and made public the news that she and Seth Rollins were expecting their first child.
