WWE Rejected THIS Ridiculous Name For Female RETRIBUTION Member
Worse than T-Bar, Mace, and Slapjack?
This has been one hell of a week for WWE's divisive RETRIBUTION stable, with male members Dominik Dijakovic, Dio Maddin, and Shane Thorne renamed T-Bar, Mace, and Slapjack on Raw, following the news that the group's five core members had been handed contracts.
Mia Yim and Mercedes Martinez were left unnamed, despite both playing speaking roles over the past couple of weeks. Per WrestleVotes, WWE always gave them new monikers to go with Mace, Slapjack, and T-Bar, though it sounds like they rejected the options presented to them:-
"Shatter."
It isn't quite as wacky as Slapjack, at least, particularly when you check the Urban Dictionary definition of Shane Thorne's new ring name, but it's not great either. Perhaps Yim and Martinez will end up with something better on next week's episode of Raw. We can only hope.
Mace, Slapjack, and T-Bar wrestled The Hurt Business to a no-contest in this week's main event. A Drew McIntyre-led Raw force poured out from the locker-room to fight RETRIBUTION's core five and their massive gang of goons, with the show going off the air in chaos. Perhaps RETRIBUTION will have a part to play in this Sunday's Clash of Champions pay-per-view.
