Now: Ex-Shining Stars and erm..bullfighters Primo and Epico were given special permission to wrestle back home in Puerto Rico for the WWC promotion despite still being under WWE contracts. That happened in 2019, but both were gone by April 2020.

Yep, they were part of that first mass "budget cut" firing spree.

72. Aiden English

WWE

Released: 15 April 2020

Now: Aiden English followed the tag-team out WWE's exit doors, but he has managed to find a spot for himself as a commentator in IMPACT Wrestling. WWE never seemed willing to properly give the one-time Vaudevillain a proper chance to become part of the announce squad full-time anyway.

Now: Form an orderly conga line!

Post-WWE release, the artist formerly known as No Way Jose has shown up in IMPACT and on the independent scene. He's another who was arguably never given a fair shake on the main roster before being released from his deal.

70. Maria Kanellis & Mike Bennett

AEW

Released: 15 April 2020

Now: Maria Kanellis and Mike Bennett are currently part of The Kingdom alongside Matt Taven. They were all in ROH, but Tony Khan's purchase of the company means they're now under AEW's umbrella - all three recently debuted on All Elite TV, but it remains to be seen if they'll become an ongoing concern.

The former SAnitY and Imperium member has returned to Germany to work for promotions like wXw and there GWF. He seems happy enough there, and has spoken in interviews/on social media about his love of pro wrestling. That won't change, WWE contract or otherwise.
