Numerous reports online, including those from Fightful Select, have announced multiple departures from WWE's roster. In total, the company cut 23 wrestlers overnight, and there are some bigger names included in the list of workers heading through those exit doors.

Here's the full list of roster cuts:

Aleister Black, Zelina Vega, Kairi Sane, The Wyatt Sicks (Uncle Howdy, Erick Rowan, Joe Gacy, Dexter Lumis and Nikki Cross), Apollo Crews, the Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin), Santos Escobar, Alba Fyre, Zoey Stark, Andre Chase, Malik Blade, Tyson, Tyriek, Tyra Mae Steele, Sirena Linton, Chris Island, Trill London and Luca Crusifino.

Obviously, the latter group there are NXT and Performance Center graduates, so it'll be the main roster crew that most people focus in on. Black, Vega, Sane, MCMGs, Escobar and probably The Sicks will grab most of the headlines. Most of them had been heavily featured on television recently.

Black and Vega seemed to be heading for a feud with Randy Orton before 'The Viper' turned heel pre-WrestleMania 42. Sane was involved in the ongoing drama between ex-stablemates Asuka and IYO SKY. Machine Guns duo Shelley and Sabin looked dependable/handy in the doubles ranks, and The Wyatt Sicks had been a focal point of SmackDown's tag-team scene for ages.

Meanwhile, Santos has had a rough time with injuries but had spoken about getting back in the saddle ASAP. WWE also fought to keep Escobar under contract previously, so his release will be viewed as a strange one.

Stay tuned for more on these releases when word breaks.
