Coming straight off the back of Vince McMahon's conference call earlier today, it looks like the company aren't wasting time in cutting the overall headcount of employees.

It was noted in the call that there would be numerous cutbacks and furloughs for WWE staff and the company overall in the near future, and that some talents would be cut from the roster.

Sure enough, here we have eight stars quickly being let go from the company and you have to imagine that more could be following them out of the door in the coming days...if not hours.

Drake Maverick was scheduled to appear in the upcoming Cruiserweight Title Tournament and Gallows and Anderson were both a part of the critically acclaimed AJ Styles Vs The Undertaker match at WrestleMania 36, yet that still hasn't stopped the company from deeming them surplus to requirements in these uncertain times.

We'll update you as and when more stars' releases are announced.
