WWE Releases Jeff Hardy
The Charismatic Enigma has reportedly been released by WWE.
Having been sent home by management last weekend, it's being reported that Jeff Hardy has now been released by WWE.
This news comes via Sean Ross Sapp over at Fightful.com, who adds Hardy refused an offer from WWE to attend rehab.
I've heard WWE offered Jeff Hardy help and rehab, and it was not accepted. Here's to hoping things get better for him.— Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful.com (@SeanRossSapp) December 9, 2021
Neither WWE nor Hardy himself have yet to comment on this story, although Fightful has proven time and time again to be an extremely reliable source when it comes to such matters.
The Charismatic Enigma was sent home by WWE following a live event in Edinburg, Texas last Saturday. Teaming with Drew McIntyre and King Woods to take on The Bloodline trio of Roman Reigns and The Usos, Hardy was described by those in attendance as appearing groggy, with him walking out of the match and into the crowd once he'd tagged out of the contest.
Following this, reports stated how Jeff had what was described as a "rough night". He would be replaced by Rey Mysterio on the next night's house show.
If this latest news indeed proves true, we can all only hope for the best for Jeff Hardy right now and moving forward.
