WWE Roster Braced For MAJOR Return Boost?
WWE's talent roster could be about to be bolstered by two big-time returns...
Two of WWE's top, absent stars have used social media to tease returns, potentially giving the company's roster a major boost ahead of what is traditionally a down period on the annual wrestling calendar.
Charlotte Flair and Sasha Banks are the wrestlers in question. The former hit Instagram to post a picture of her wrestling boots on her Story, with the implications clear.
Banks, meanwhile, uploaded a montage of photographs and videos from her recent time spent training in Mexico, doing so on TikTok. "She's coming," was the accompanying tagline, as well as a series of hashtags including #wwe, #aew, #luchalibre, and #joshipuroresu.
"WE MISS YOU," commented one fan. Sasha's response? "I'm here."
Banks has been off WWE television since she and Naomi walked out during a Raw taping in May, resulting in the duo being stripped of their Women's Tag Team Championships and suspended indefinitely. All manner of speculation has followed Banks' every move since then, including talk of a WWE comeback, release, and jumping ship to another promotion.
The timeline of Flair's absence is similar. Charlotte took time off after wrestling Ronda Rousey at WrestleMania Backlash 2022 (8 May). This was initially so she and Andrade El Idolo could get married, though Andrade commented in October that Charlotte was out due to personal reasons.
