The Undertaker is clearly coming to the end of his active in-ring career as a WWE performer. 'The Deadman' hasn't been full-time with the company for a long period of time. Over the past 5 years or so, he's been much more restricted in terms of appearances he's willing (or perhaps able) to make. Right now, there are no guarantees that Undertaker will even be wrestling by the time the 2017 Royal Rumble pay-per-view comes around. That means the 2016 incarnation of the match could be his last chance to make an impression at the event. It's quite sad to imagine that the aforementioned 2009 elimination at the hands of The Big Show will be Undertaker's last moment in the Rumble. Also, as touched on before, fans would go crazy to see The Undertaker compete once again in the Royal Rumble. Add to that the idea that this could be his last full year in WWE as an actual wrestler, and it becomes all the more important that he makes at least some kind of appearance in Orlando.
