Similarly, Charlotte's feud with Becky Lynch seems to be a time filler as we await the return of Paige. To her credit, Lynch has shown she can connect with fans, and her promo work has been surprisingly excellent over the past few weeks. That said, it doesn't seem likely that she will emerge from Royal Rumble as WWE Divas Champion. Admittedly, WWE do like to occasionally switch at least one belt on their major pay-per-view events. Of course, this doesn't always happen, but if any title is the most likely to change hands it's the Divas prize. Charlotte's full-blown heel character is just demanding to be taken down a peg or two, and Lynch could be the ideal spitfire babyface to humble her and bring the Team PCB story full circle. As nice a thought as Becky living out her dream is, there's a bigger chance that 'Nature Boy' Ric Flair will become involved and help his daughter retain the championship. Some fans still have reservations about Flair's heavy involvement, but it will only lead to bigger cheers when Charlotte inevitably loses the Divas Title to someone like Lynch or Paige. At the Rumble though, she will probably leave as champion.
