2. WWE Cruiserweight Title: Buddy Murphy (C) Vs. Akira Tozawa Vs. Hideo Itami Vs. Kalisto

Result: Murphy puts Itami away with the Murphy’s Law to retain the title (12:05).

Rating: This was without question the strongest kickoff match in recent memory, and clearly should've been on the main card. Everyone here was working at a high gear and sustained throughout, with Murphy booked to look like the absolute star that he is.

The pacing was excellent, the hits were insanely stiff and Itami did a great job convincing the crowd that maybe, just maybe, he might actually snatch the belt from Murphy.

This had all the right elements and the result was one of the most kinetic 205 matches of late. 8/10
