WWE Royal Rumble 2019: Mystery Entrants Revealed? (SPOILERS)
Former champions set to return on 27 January?
Surprise entrants are a huge part of the Royal Rumble's appeal, and with Sunday's pay-per-view looming, PW Insider may have revealed a handful of potential returnees.
Their Elite Audio show mentioned that former Raw Tag Team Champions Matt Hardy and Bray Wyatt, former SmackDown champions Harper and Rowan, and Tye Dillinger have all been made available to wrestle this weekend. None are currently announced for the men's match, and there are still 10 free spots remaining.
Retirement rumours have followed Hardy since he left television to deal with lower back injuries last summer, but he recently told Twitter that he'd been cleared to return. His partner, Wyatt, hasn't been seen since Matt departed, aside from a handful of house show appearances.
The Bludgeon Brothers have been out with injuries since August 2018, while Dillinger hasn't wrestled since October.
Though none of these guys would make the most exciting surprise on 27 January, that their recovery timelines coincide with the Rumble means each is an easy spot-filler, particularly Tye, who can be thrown in at number 10 for a cheap pop.
None are guaranteed, but keep an eye on these five names for Sunday night.
