WWE Royal Rumble 2021 - Entrants 1 And 2 Announced For Men's Match
Is this going to be the Greatest WWE Royal Rumble Match Ever?!
Bitter rivals Randy Orton and Edge will enter this year's Men's Royal Rumble match at #1 and #2, respectively.
The news of the 'Greatest Wrestling Match Ever' participants kicking off the over-the-top-rope action was announced on Saturday night's special Royal Rumble edition of WWE Backstage on FS1. Edge and Orton went back-and-forth throughout 2020, with 'The Rated R Superstar' picking up the win over 'The Viper' at WrestleMania 36 in a Last Man Standing match and Orton returning the favour at Backlash in the aforementioned GWME.
Edge announced his intention to enter the Rumble match on the latest episode of Monday Night Raw, joining Orton, Bobby Lashley, Otis, AJ Styles, Rey Mysterio, Dominick Mysterio, Daniel Bryan, Cesaro, Shinsuke Nakamura, The Miz, John Morrison, Jey Uso, Jeff Hardy, Sami Zayn, Dolph Ziggler, Big E, Mustafa Ali, Sheamus, King Corbin and Braun Strowman in the match, alongside nine other mystery opponents.
Will the star who made his triumphant return after a nine-year layoff at last year's event be able to go one better and win the whole thing in 2021? Or will the despicable 'Legend Killer' go out of his way to ruin Edge's 'Mania dreams?
Oh, and there's just the small matter of a 'Fiend' waiting in the wings, too...
