BetOnline have been the first gambling company to come through with their list of favourites for the annual spectacle, and though they should always be taken with a pinch of salt, there's been precedent for early frontrunners coming good the following January.

Notable names in both the men's and women's pools are as follows (h/t Wrestling Inc)

Though currently nursing a pec injury following an incredible outing against Seth Rollins at Hell In A Cell, Cody Rhodes' announced nine months on the shelf hasn't put bookies off naming him as favourite, suggesting that they too believe he'll beat the projected (and potentially worked) recovery time.

Assuming Sasha Banks is no longer with the organisation by January, the three remaining Horsewomen being top of the pile in the Women's pool isn't surprising - Bayley's eagerly anticipated return from a long layoff will surely place her title contention by January, Charlotte Flair's own current break will likely have passed by then, and Becky Lynch Vs Ronda Rousey (with or without a title) had been mooted as a WrestleMania 39 match before 2022's version of the show.
