The huge revenue tsunami set to hit WWE's coffers following their bumper new TV deals could result in one of the most aggressive expansion periods the company has experienced in years, according to Dave Meltzer in this week's Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

Per the write-up, WWE are looking at NXT in particular. There has been talk of turning the popular developmental brand into a two-hour show, such is the volume of talent going through the system at the moment, but plans to enhance it run much deeper than a mere bump in runtime.

As well as actively pursuing new signings, WWE are considering establishing international Performance Centers as a way of setting up global territories. Thus, we could well see a training complex built to compliment the upcoming NXT UK brand, along with expansion into other, unexplored countries.

In other WWE business news, Meltzer also writes that Major League Wrestling's recent War Games trademark was the reason WWE went back and secured a lot of old WCW terms recently. The televised indie aren't direct competition, but Vince McMahon felt jilted nonetheless, and that's why properties like Fall Brawl, Halloween Havoc, and the New World Order logo are now under his control.
