"The Showstopper", "Mr. Wrestlemania", "The Heartbreak Kid", or maybe you know him as one of the greatest of all time. Whatever you call him, Shawn Michaels wowed audiences worldwide with his wrestling skills, natural ability on the mic and general showmanship for over 25 years until he retired back in 2010. With hindsight, it's easy to see just how much he has contributed to the wrestling industry, not only through the many wonderful matches and moments but also through the way he has trained other names during his original retirement, including Daniel Bryan, Paul London and Brian Kendrick. For all the great matches though, there were many where Shawn was forced to work with those who he either didn't match up well with or simply didn't have the talent to pull off something spectacular. Whilst HBK had plenty of matches that were "just there" as a result, when he was off his game there could be even worse outcomes. Not only that, but there were moments where Shawn's ego (nearly as legendary as his wrestling abilities) visibly got in the way of what was going on in the ring. It's fair that whilst we recognise all those incredible matches he put on, it's only fair to remember some of the stinkers as well. For now though, let's pick up on the best bits...
