As seen on last night's Talking Smack, WWE has hired Jackie Redmond.

A former NHL and MLB Network host, Redmond has joined Vince McMahon's sports entertainment juggernaut to become the new co-host of Talking Smack and Raw Talk alongside The Bump's Matt Camp.

Redmond got her big break back in 2011, winning the Score Television Network's The Search for Canada's Next Sportscaster contest. Since then, she spent six years as an anchor for Rogers Sportsnet, which also included a spell hosting WWE Aftermath. That gig was then followed by hockey coverage for the NHL Network and Turner Sports.

In a statement on WWE.com, Jackie discussed how excited she is to be joining WWE, detailing how she grew up on Stone Cold Stunners and Rock Bottoms.

Previously, it was Kayla Braxton and Paul Heyman who were tasked with leading Talking Smack until Heyman was dropped from the show this July. As for Raw Talk, that post-Raw show usually had Braxton or Kevin Patrick heading things up with Matt Camp in recent times.

Whilst Camp is sticking around for both Raw Talk and Talking Smack, it appears that Kayla Braxton's roles in those shows will now be taken over by Jackie Redmond.
