Chad Gable earned some meaty boos when he turned heel on Sami Zayn a while back, but the Alpha Academy leader is having the time of life and says being bad "comes so naturally".

Explaining via an interview with TNT Sports, Chad (2 Bad?) said he's far from "a jerk" in real life, but admitted his competitive, disciplined lifestyle does lead to certain heelish "tendencies coming out". Interfere in Gable's training and you "might catch [him] a little crankier than [he] normally would be".

Be warned, people!

Seriously though, Chad finds being heel comes easy and says the role "is probably the closest to maybe my real personality than anything else I’ve done [in WWE]". You're probably reeling that "Shorty G" wasn't actually representative of Gable's real life personality, eh?

In a cool moment, Chad also told TNT that there's "zero stress" when he's mapping out heel promos or reactions in-ring during matches. They're totally natural, because they're often how he'd respond away from the ring anyway; things are just dialled up a little louder.

Gable is thrilled that his new direction has "resonated" with fans.
