WWE Star Set For Monstrous Homecoming Match On Next Week's Raw

Performing in front of family is supposed to be a happy occasion, but not in this case.

WWE Raw will emanate from St. Paul, Minnesota next week, and Chad Gable already knows he has a match in front of friends and family in his hometown... but he's clearly not thrilled about it.

Gable learned Monday night that he will face an irate Braun Strowman after the Monster Among Monsters overheard the Olympian trash-talking him.

Alpha Academy have had a few run-ins with Strowman recently, and Gable cited Otis' recent match with Braun as the reason he wasn't at 100% on Raw Monday night, calling Braun a "two-ton doofus." Strowman apparently was watching the program, because he called Austin Theory, who handed his cell to Gable. Over speakerphone, Braun challenged Gable to a match, noting that by wrestling in his hometown, his family wouldn't have to fly his body back home for the funeral afterwards.

Gable spent the rest of the segment in a panicked state, clearly worrying about what a man who has been beating up multiple wrestlers at once will do in a one-on-one match. Expect Master Gable to try to rely on some shenanigans to get an upper hand. Maybe he'll try to bribe or recruit Omos to help as the "true monster" on Raw.
