WWE Star Suffered Separated Shoulder On Friday's SmackDown
This SmackDown talent looks set for a spell on the sidelines.
Pretty Deadly's Elton Prince looks set for a spell on the sidelines.
Via Mike Johnson over at PWInsider.com, Prince suffered a separated shoulder on this past Friday's episode of SmackDown. As such, the former NXT Tag Team Champion was spotted with his arm in a sling.
Additionally, Bryan Alvarez over at the Wrestling Observer noted how the 26-year-old Englishman was formally on the WWE injury list as of Saturday morning.
This latest SmackDown offering saw Pretty Deadly pick up a win over the Brawling Brutes' Sheamus and Ridge Holland, with Prince actually the one to score the pinfall after hitting Holland with a top rope leg drop.
As for when this injury happened, Ridge - who some idiots online blamed for the injury - confirmed on Twitter that this occurred when Elton took a Pounce. Sadly, Holland appears to have deleted his Twitter account after posting that update.
Since moving to the main roster as part of this year's WWE Draft, it's been a strong start for Pretty Deadly on SmackDown. To date, their only loss has come against Undisputed Tag Team Champions Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn, and Prince and Kit Wilson have found themselves becoming aligned with Austin Theory during their short time on WWE's blue brand.
Described internally as a freak accident, this shoulder issue is expected to keep Elton Prince out of action for at least a few weeks. Here's to a speedy recovery for him.
