Last night's Stomping Grounds show drew an embarrassing crowd to Tacoma, Washington's 20,722-seater Tacoma Dome, with the promotion forced to curtain off almost the entire hard camera side.

It looks like those reports on Stomping Grounds awful ticket sales panned out as expected. Regardless of how many fans showed up in Tacoma, the huge, black curtain is a humiliating visual for WWE, who laid a major egg by scheduling a B-level pay-per-view so close to a Saudi Arabian show, forcing them to switch from San Diego, California to Washington.

In Tacoma's defence, you'd have never guessed the arena was half empty from the noise they made at various points. Enthusiasm dipped during certain matches, but this was a noisy, raucous building for a while, particular as home state hero Daniel Bryan teamed with Rowan to face Heavy Machinery.

Regardless, the sparse attendance shows that WWE is a colder product than Doritos 3D at the moment. Their live event attendance downturn continues.
