Triple H came out first, accompanied by Chyna, both representing D-Generation X. The duo wasnt alone, however, as the DX anthem got the live performance treatment by the Chris Warren band. The entire entrance was a tad awkward to watch back now in 2016, but it may have been cool back in 1998. I can say this - the entrance and the music did not coincide much and it appeared to be off beat. Once in the ring, Triple H lifted Chris Warren onto his shoulders and paced side to side in a seemingly improvised decision, before putting him down and destroying the set. The whole scenario felt like a heavy metal house party from a really bad movie. Enter The Rock: Do you smell what The Rock is cookin? Ha. Out came the great one slowly, arrogant, and ready to soak in the shower of boos. He climbed up the ladder at the entrance way to raise his championship belt, giving the ring crew additional seconds to clear the ring of the remnants of Triple Hs musical rage. I have no idea how Triple H didnt lose all of his energy by the time the match had started, since he really went to town on the music setup. Perhaps he was just annoyed that they didn't get his famous tune quite in synch...
