Well, most fans can surely agree that it wasn't exactly a SummerSlam for the ages.

Undeniably, though, it was definitely a WWE PPV.

It'll be interesting to see how the show is regarded a few years from now, but it's safe to say that it sure won't be fondly.

After all, what makes a PPV seem more dated than a refusal to put over the hot up-and-comers? Though it's hard to be that mad about Reigns putting over Brock.

Unfortunately the beach ball wasn't the only thing to deflate with a depressing whimper.

But at least fans got two unexpected stipulation matches in the bargain.
